I decided that my Beast Quest lens was too much of a beast and am in the process of breaking it into smaller lenses for each of the individual series/quests. Even if you don't have a youthful reader stop by and weigh in the debate about pirates and vote for your favorite fictional pirate!
If you have a young reader who enjoys reading about magic and adventure then you simply must introduce them to Adam Blade's Beast Quest series. These are great books for boys and girls and are a fun book series for young readers to sink their teeth into. While he loves all of the Beast Quest series, this series is especially near and dear to my 11-year-old son's heart as he is currently obsessed with pirates (we blame Pirates of the Caribbean).
There are heroes and villains plus wizards and magical beasts. Each story (and each quest) is an epic adventure pitting good versus evil and playing up the importance of friendship and love and many other positive values.
The Pirate King is the 8th of Adam Blade's Beast Quest series and includes Books 43 - 48.
