What, when, and how do you teach your preschooler?

Parents need preschool lesson plans just as much as teachers do -- probably more because they don't have the advantage of training and education and they spend a whole lot more time with their child. So what preschool activities can you do at home? Just about anything you need to teach your child preschool songs or fun ways to learn the alphabet you can do at home with little or no special preschool toys.
