I want a portable DVD player for Mother's Day

We only have one television set in our house -- and really for a family of three that is plenty. My theory has always been that if we buy another TV then we will simply watch more television and is there anyone who NEEDS to watch more TV? Also, when I have free time or (more often) am just too tired to enjoy reading but need to unwind a bit after work or before bed then I like to watch a little television. Of course, truth be told, I don't actually watch much in the way of TV. More frequently I watch DVDs. Of course the problem is that my husband and son haven't gotten used to negotiating between themselves for TV and game time -- which leaves me out in the cold. This is why I have decided that I want a portable DVD player for Mother's Day this year -- I think it is a great Mother's Day gift. Read on for my reasons!
