My son has been an Adam Blade fan for years. After finishing up the Harry Potter series, we looked around for a new series and selected Blade's Beast Quest series.

This turned out to be a great choice because these are great books for boys -- really great books for children to read.

The Hello, Goodbye Window has resided on my son's bookshelf for years. I think we bought the book when he was in kindergarten. We fell in love with it from the first. It is just a delightful, heart-warming and fun book for children. We enjoyed reading it many times. Then as Noah became a reader himself he found this book easily accessible. Now that Noah is in third grade we have found this book a great springboard for writing.

What it really means is understanding the discourse communities we write for because each discourse community has specific purposes and goals -- the reasons that communication takes place and the goals that communication should achieve -- but even more important every discourse community has rules and expected behaviors. I'm not celebrating and am extremely disappointed

I celebrated my Squidoo anniversary on March 11 and that was a happy day with many congratulations from my Squidoo pals and fans but that warm fuzzy feeling lasted all of four days until we received our January 2011 Squidoo earnings.

That's right! Today is my Squidoo anniversary and it has been four years. Does that mean we are no longer newlyweds?

After four years on Squidoo, I have managed to publish more than 300 lenses and have a received a number of honors. I thought it was time to display those honors in one place. In 2007 I originally joined Squidoo for SEO. My intent was to create Squidoo backlinks for my blog marketing and other internet marketing enterprises. Now, four years later, I have essentially retired from those other online marketing efforts and other than some passive income (from parked web sites) my only freelance income comes from my Squidoo earnings. I have found that Squidoo lens creation feeds my need to write and create and I also enjoy social networking on Squidoo.
